On June 12, 2018, the 35th International Bridge Conference (IBC) was held in Washington, DC. The Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, which is known as the world's tallest and longest and technological innovation, won the Arthur Haydn Award from the conference. This award is the only innovative award of this International Bridge Conference and the second time in our country history to win this award.


The International Bridge Conference Award, which is known as the Nobel Prize in the bridge industry, has been selected once a year. A total of five awards have been set up to award and commend outstanding bridge projects in terms of design, practicality, concept and environmental resources. Among them, the Arthur G. Hayden Medal is a bridge for landscape innovation that demonstrates bridge art in bridge engineering.
The Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, which won the Arthur Hayden Award of the International Bridge Conference, was designed by the world-famous designer Du Tanghai of the Israel Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo and was built by the China Construction Sixth Bureau. The bridge is culturally designed and positioned with the philosophical aesthetics of "The biggest music has no sound, the biggest image has no image". Its unique styling and innovative design has been fully affirmed and praised by the world bridge and engineering circles. CNN has included it in one of the 11 most spectacular bridges in the world.
The glass bridge of Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon is 430 meters long, 6 to 15 meters wide and nearly 300 meters away from the ground. It is beautiful in appearance and difficult to construct.
Style Arts participated in the production of the 50-meter bridge pier of the Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge--TCP rockwork, from the design development of the project to the construction of the steel structure and the construction of the steel mesh. The artistic effect of the TCP rockwork was integrated with the overall landscape of Zhangjiajie naturally. The Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge is a multi-functional landscape footbridge. In addition to the pedestrian function, it also has a variety of uses such as bungee jumping, swing, zip line, T-set, and tightrope. Since its trial operation in 2017, the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge has become the pillar of Zhangjiajie's tourism industry, a new landmark for Zhangjiajie tourism, and has driven the domestic tourism glass project boom. The birth of the glass bridge changed the plagiarism of the planning and construction of the scenic spot, and well integrated the excellent culture of Chinese history into the tourism products.
